First Draft Production: 29 - 30 March 2020, Pleasance Theatre

This is a record of who we are right now.
In this theatre, in London, in the UK, Europe, the World, the Universe.

A group of teenagers try to preserve who they are right now, a few years before the end of the world, by creating a time capsule in front of a live audience.

Starting with the smallest things first, they try to explain everything about themselves, about their homes, their country, the world and eventually the universe, where they come face to face with the possibility of the end of everything.

This first draft production, which used live video controlled by the cast, was our first experiment with creating time capsules. It was developed into a new play, Everything, performed in January 2020, and inspired the creation of the Coronavirus Time Capsule during the Covid-19 lockdown later that year.

Created and performed by Nicima Abdi, Kezia Adewale, Inaayat Chowdhury, Cherie Duah, James-Leon Gallacher, KJ Gomez-Danso, Chanel Hilaire, Shyhiem Hossain-Heath, Kye Howard, Jack Hughes, Renee Jean-Charles, Jaekwan Hunte-Jarrett, Alannah Makoni, Jake Monib, Syntyche Mumbaya, Aaliyah Murrian, Vini Padoan, Abigail Phillips-Douglas, Bailey Smith & Kadiesat Turay.
