Write Back | Storytelling| Festivals Exchange

For the first time, we’re inviting two youth arts organisations to perform at C3 Festivals through the Festivals Exchange.

As well as working with our artists and young people throughout the devising process, Write Back have responded to the themes we’re presented in ‘Say No More,’ and have co-created their own poetry performance.

About Write Back

The Write Back Project is based in Barking and Dagenham and runs sessions where the voices of all young people are heard, valued, and celebrated.

Their mission is to build confidence, creativity, and social connections among young people by empowering them to share their own stories to find self-esteem and agency – not just in the Write Back room, but for life beyond.

At the end of each 10-week project, young people don’t just share the belief that they are storytellers, they have in their hands the means to prove it – a published book that tells their story to the world.
