Goodbye to our Associate Artist, Philip Morris.

Here at Company Three we are very sad to announce that our Associate Artist, Philip Morris, is leaving us for adventures new!

Philip has been with the Company Three since 2019. Working with all of our young people he has been a much loved member of our team. Philip has co-created and directed numerous productions for Company Three including Eighteen at the New Diorama Theatre, Cancelled, and Grow Up. He has worked in schools across Islington including delivering two years of intensive projects with Beacon High School. Philip was also an integral part of the team who delivered the Coronavirus Time Capsule for thousands of young people across the UK.

Of his time here Philip says,

‘Since 2019 I've had the privilege of working with Company Three. It has been a journey of consistent growth. I began as an assistant facilitator supporting the room, to leading, and then became a full time member of staff as an Associate Artist.

I've had the pleasure of directing pieces such as Grow Up, Eighteen and Cancelled which have all been productions reflective of our young people's realities. I've gone to three residentials, worked alongside my colleagues, building weekly content for the C3 time capsule throughout the peak of lockdown.

The company’s ethos, methodology and commitment to the needs and desires of the young people is something that has consistently inspired me.

The inspiration of learning from the company and young people we work with has encouraged me to focus on the needs of the young men I work with at Trybe House Theatre as Artistic Director.

Due to the high demand of further work that my company (Trybe) are transitioning into, I am stepping down from my role as an Associate Artist. I am so grateful to the company for their consistent support and would like to personally thank Ned for having faith in me and coaching my artistic leadership, stemming back to 2017.

Company Three hasn't only helped me become a better practitioner, but it's also helped me become a better person. I will always aim to continue to be kind, brave and be myself.’

Philip will be staying with us to work on our production of Black is Safe this autumn and to bring the fun on our Summer Residential!

All of us wish Philip well on his new adventures and we are sure he won’t be a stranger to Company Three.

We are now recruiting for Philip’s replacement. Click here for the Job Pack
