Online Guidelines
The third rule of Company Three is ‘Be Yourself.’ We want our social media platforms, website and online channels to be welcoming spaces, where our young people, staff, and audiences can be themselves.
Our online channels are a place for us to share the work we co-create with young people, celebrate young people and youth arts, and campaign for youth voices to be heard. We have therefore set out some guidelines below to help keep our online spaces a safer environment.
Comments must not:
Promote hate-speech or discrimination based on gender, gender identity, geography, race, religion, ability and disability, age, appearance, class, culture, economics, education, employment, ethnicity, sexuality, sexual orientation, spirituality.
Personally attack or abuse any person, group or community (or direct others to do so).
Infringe anyone’s rights.
Contain personal or sensitive information about anyone.
Contain explicit language or be offensive, threatening, abusive, hateful or inflammatory .
Put children, young people or others at risk.
Encourage or glamorise illegal activity.
Contain spam (repeating similar or unwanted messages in a way that’s disruptive).
Contain anything that could be libellous or defamatory (publishing an untrue statement that harms a person's or company's reputation).
In moderating our website, social media and online channels, we reserve the right to determine whether contributions breach our guidelines; hide, delete or report content and/or profiles, and block users who do not follow these guidelines; and send comments to the appropriate law enforcement authorities for investigation.
